Hashtag Lunchbag is a nationwide movement built around a simple idea: gather volunteers, make meals, deliver them to people experiencing homelessness, and make the whole thing feel like a celebration rather than a chore. The challenge in Philadelphia was real — when iSocialite Media asked young people in the city about community service, the responses were bleak. Community service felt like a chore. We needed to change that.
iSocialite Media led concepting, partnerships, logistics, and marketing for The ILL Collab Project — producing a community service experience that combined volunteerism, culture, and collaboration in a way that made giving back the place young Philadelphians needed to be.
We wanted the tastemakers of the city to merge their fanbases and come together for a common goal. Culture and community service aren't opposites — we just needed to prove it.
— iSocialite Media on The ILL Collab ProjectWe produced The ILL Collab Project as a cultural event first and a service event second — not because the service mattered less, but because making it feel like a celebration is exactly what gets 200 volunteers to show up and give their time.
The Sixers, KIND Snacks, and Sparkling Ice weren't just sponsors — they were community signals. The 76ers' involvement in particular gave the event civic credibility that resonated with Philadelphia's pride in their city and team. Together they helped produce 1,000+ lunches for the unhoused.
Community service positioned as a cultural moment — not a chore. Every element of the event was designed to feel like the place you wanted to be, not the thing you had to do.
KIND, Sparkling Ice, and the Philadelphia 76ers weren't logo placements. Each partner brought real value — food, energy, and civic credibility — that made the event feel supported by people who actually care about Philadelphia.
200+ volunteers assembled and distributed over 1,000 lunches to Philadelphia's unhoused community. The outcome wasn't a metric — it was real food reaching real people because the city showed up.
Developed the ILL Collab Project concept with Hashtag Lunchbag — establishing the event's identity, tone, and mission framing. Identified and secured brand partners KIND, Sparkling Ice, and the Philadelphia 76ers, aligning each around the event's community and cultural purpose.
Handled full event logistics — volunteer flow, meal assembly setup, partner activation stations, and distribution coordination. Designed the volunteer experience to feel energized and communal, not transactional, from the moment participants arrived.
Executed community-facing outreach and marketing to drive volunteer registration. Leveraged partner networks — particularly the 76ers' Philadelphia community reach — to amplify awareness and recruit participants who might not otherwise engage with a volunteerism event.
This was probably the coolest experience I've had doing a community service project.
